Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You can get lots of DIY earwax removal unguents and devices over the counter at the pharmacy. But not cotton buds because they're illegal now, and about bloomin' time because when you've seen the consequences of someone having their elbow nudged while they've got a cotton bud down their earhole it sticks with you.

Only six cotton buds can gather together, unless they're in a pub. I think that's how it works.

Yup. Come Brexitmageddon, I won't starve because I have a plastic-stemmed cotton buds and the sort of thing Dr Shipman might have used to exchange for food. And I've also got all the food.

'Pardon?' would be too predictable but I think I've been hoisted by my own petard. ;)

I looked up David Suchet (who is 3/4 Russian) to confirm it was really him in an old episode of Dr Who I'm watching and
a) his entry on IMDB starts with 'is one of England's finest...'
2) doesn't even list Poirot as his most famous role

I thought that the banning of ear syringing was a consequence of CV19, as in it's liquid being sprayed, just like the dentists going back to scraping teeth with a pointy instrument.
