Underside of the back corner of the top of the oven behind the heating element. About 90 mins later (and possibly half the time trying to turn the thing the wrong way) before getting the rest of it out. Now off for a rest ! Although do I dare put the new one in? Second one of a two pack. But I least I know I can get them out again now.

Very pleased it didn't need oven removal and access from the top, which I think is the way to get the light unit out. And, so I've heard, from A&E tales, always best to make sure you can get the bulb out before putting it in anywhere]
