Litter - found McDs milkshake remains in the local car park this afternoon.
Nearest McDs is 7 or so miles away. Shocking how quickly we're back to 'normal.'

I often chat with my councillor friend about the new KFC near us. They have bins in and outside but the problem is people discarding their rubbish on their way home.
Another fried chicken shop in West Croydon often has school children queuing up outside. I often find their packaging along the 403 bus route when I run around Sanderstead and Warlingham at the weekends.

Films or shows with subtitles that are illegible against the background. Surely fairly fundamental

Not even sure how to do that LinsD. It’s on amazon prime and I don’t want to rate it down because it was a tough but beautiful documentary, but frustrating having to try to read some of the subtitles

um
1) BBC headlines .... eg Gatwick drone arrest couple receive £200k payout from Sussex Police
When really they agreed £55k damages for false imprisonment for 36 hours and the press
coverage.
2) The legal bill submitted by their lawyers to Sussex Police was £145k
And this was the settlement 'out of court'. I wonder what the costs would have been if it had gone to trial.
3) Buried in the report the news that the drone sightings that caused the shutdown & disruption 'may have been police drones' !!!

(A really odd case that one - in this day and age, a crime that took place in broad daylight, and witnessed by so many, still not solved)
Events at the weekend. How can someone wearing an Iron Cross on their jacket, or someone with a 'coal scuttle' on their head, or people giving that type of salute actually believe that they are protecting war memorials, or have any right to do so?
(this is more than 'grinds my gears' - but there is no 'utter revulsion' thread)
