Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh I could be on a roll now................

"This dog has been stolen, please share the hell out of it and make it too it to handle..."

Sorry Auntie Liz, but i'm not sure sharing a picture of a dog that has gone missing in New Zealand is really going to turn up in rural Perthshire..

Hee hee! Legitimate tactic, TPR :) (Being tempted to do things that were definitely game-playing rather than training is one of the reasons I quit WSW.)

Ha Ha. There is definitely some game playing going on with WSW.

I'm getting very close to stopping playing.

Game playing is one thing, but logging walks as runs in order to win is a bit far. Logging frequent walks to the shops... fair enough I guess. If they're out there doing it, it can count.

The fact that I can’t rely on either external contractors, or other departments internally to a) to the job they have said they would do, when they said they were going to do it and b) in some cases, actually have carried out the job they assure me has been completed. Gear grinding as I already have way much more work than I can keep on top of, yet I have to waste time going out to site to check up on these things. And then chasing up said contractors/other departments afterwards.
