Every year I seem to have the same gripe - people who do not give their children adequate sun protection.
In the paddling pool on Monday - children in just nappies in 25 degree heat. Grrrr!

Also sunburned people who say, "Oh, Factor 50 doesn't work for me." It would if you bothered to buy it and put it on.

Sorry Vrap - I burn in this country with factor 50 slathered on.
When younger burned in the lakes on a cloudy day where we never saw the sun, own fault only had factor 20 on. A blonde and a red head with us both insisted they were fairer than me, they had a point as I was bright red when they were still pale, I made a bonny shade of purple after a long soak in a tarn.
I am very pale (but not terribly interesting)

Having the sort of skin that burns with even high factor sunscreen on (and this applies to most people depending on how long you stay out in the sun) doesn't mean that the sunscreen "doesn't work for you" and therefore putting it on is not worthwhile.

Oh, I have no doubt that the mild reddened tight skin I experienced would have been utterly horrendous, blistered nasty full-on burns had I not been using the F50.
No sunscreen will protect you beyond a few hours, cover up or go indoors!

eL Bee! also has a "sunscreen alone is not enough" skin type, though I reckon it would help if he put on about three times as much as he actually does.

you have me Vrap - the suncream does help...... allows some sun exposure when backed up by long sleeves, trousers and a hat the rest of the time

American adding tax to things. I was buying the kids a cookie each and had a dollar bill in my hand. I asked for two cookies and the server said it was 3 for a dollar. So I ordered 3 a sandwich two were $0.82
Then he asked for $1.06 as the $1 didn’t include tax
