Had a delivery at work (a door) - for some reason by an articulated lorry. He then sat across our entrance at work on a country lane as he said he couldn't move the lorry 'by law'for 45 minutes as it was break time and he had drIven over his limit. No amount of cajoling would move him. No one could get in or out by the normal entrance. Absolutely bizarre. I got involved after hearing about this after 30 minutes where my staff were coming in via the next door farmers entrance which requires the farmer to kindly open the gate each time. As I am older now and life is too short I gave up and let the 15 minutes go by. Years ago it would have been a bit more feisty. What a massive twat he was. (In fact he was very very unhealthily big).

The statement (someone on FB) that everyone who runs parkrun is middle-class.
The concomitant statement that I am middle-class.
The FB group the statement was posted in requiring a level of non-conflict that prevents me from framing an adequate reply

The good young people from the Dame Kelly Holmes trust who both ran and volunteered at Swindon when I was there recently would laugh ironically at the that 'middle class' label.

Speaking of middle class....
My single John Lewis order being delivered as two separate packages - one yesterday via DHL and one today via Royal Mail. My gears are ground because not only were two methods of delivery used, but the deliveries were on two separate days. And our sorting office is in the arse-end of town that's a royal pain the proverbial to get to.
This pisses me off greatly.

Middle class cover many things but I do think parkrun crosses those boundaries.
