Adults cycling on the pavement. Particularly when the pavement is narrow but there is a wide cycle lane on the wide road.

Agree Carp. As a cyclist I get really annoyed. Cycle on the road and walk on pavements. If you're too scared to cycle on the road, rethink your travelling options.

It's public money. Put another way, Chris Evans = 85 nurses (approx.), 80 teachers (approx.) - probably similar numbers of police officers and others doing useful work for the community.

Cycling on footpaths is down to poor road design and people feeling intimidated by drivers. Having had some very close passes round by clueless drivers here I sometimes cycle on the footpath if it's empty. And cycle paths round here are designed by homicidal maniacs and not maintained, so the road or footpath can be less horrendous than these 'cycle paths'...

Cycling on footpaths is down to a number of factors but none of them make it right or lawful. If the conditions make cycling on a road unpleasant for the cyclist and they want to use the pavement, they should dismount and wheel their bike. Cycling on pavements can be really intimidating for pedestrians.

Gears ground by quite a few things today; not great customer service generally. Solicitors - we gave you the wrong quote as we only just found out you're selling a flat and it's leasehold (the original quote states "leasehold property"). I checked my correspondence and the word flat was mentioned several times. WTAF? Gardeners in north Bristol - don't turn up, don't email you back. I had a grumble on one of those local sites where I'd posted looking for recommendationsand one of the blokes I'd emailed asked if I still needed a gardener. I felt like saying "Not you muthafucka, you didn't reply to my email." The deli up the road forgetting my coffee for the second time in a month. When I went to ask where it was, they'd forgotten so I asked for a refund as I'd already waited 12 mins and had to go somewhere. They should've given me a free coffee on both occasions to keep my business. They've lost it now. Shame - I bought quite a few items there and the food's very good quality. |
