Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Agree with you on Keaveny, Wobbling. Instant turn-off on my radio, up there with Feltz and Vine.

Love Mary Anne Hobbs though, first thing on a Sat morning she shounds like just just coming in from a big Friday night out.

Sanitising the country side.

Like, I see they have put steps down into Hob Hole (If you're from Yorkshire, you know where I mean, the path down onto Runswick beach)
It was a horrible, slippery, shale affair with a jump across a (small) beck at the bottom. Bit of a scramble, bit of fun.
Now there's steps.

Then I get annoyed with myself for thinking like that, 'cos the work is done by volunteers and they do a fantastic job, keeping paths clear and maintaining steps and the such like.

But then there's part of me that doesn't always believe in 'access for all' to the countryside, because it encourages the bloody townies who have no clue what they are doing and turn out in their jeans and loafers and have to be rescued by MRT.

(Although probably not from Hob Hole in all fairness.)

There are plenty of manicured trails about, leave a bit of rough stuff for those of us who like it that way!

Not sure, but the general consensus is that he is an arse.

Golf. Golf on telly. Golfers. Golf Clubs. Golf commentators.

Golf.
