furthermore, Ken Bruce (Who I can sometimes tolerate) is on hols, he usually gets replaced by the awful Zoe Ball, today he has been replaced by the equally (it appears) awful Fearne Cotton.

Some of you on here might remember me grinding about 2 buses that didn't turn up on a route which only has that one bus. I'd been visiting my folks and waited from 20:00 to 21:15 on a cold night with my dad, before giving up. Home is 9 miles away otherwise I'd've walked it.
The bus company came back to say that both buses ran! I can only guess that the 2 marked Sorry Not In Service should not have been or that the bus turned off somewhere.
I called my dad to tell him and he said a different bus company runs the service which turns off to scoop up the outlying villages and then rejoins the A-road. "Someone's lying" he commented.

WS - and the even worse sarah Cox.
Why on earth is *every* daytime R2 presenter on holiday this week - it's not as if many of them has school age children to take care of at half-term

People that listen to Radio 2 when they don't like ANY of the presenters - re-tune your radios!

Ken Bruce and Jeremy Vine have school age children! I agree though, I hate the stand ins. But I hate the music on daytime radio 1.

Phonetics. What a heap of faecal matter!
[If there were no accents, it would be easier. 'Highk' took a second or two and made me smile but 'voutual' used in place of virtual took a while to translate ]

Er, I don't understand the last post at all. Is it a reference to another one?

Being appealed to "as a woman" or "as a mother" as if either of these makes it more likely that I'll be a sucker for a sob story, or even a more empathic human being than, say, a man, or a woman who isn't a mother. Nope. You're insulting me and insulting a huge swathe of the rest of the population.
