Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What do you know today, that you did not yesterday?

[It's always been Notts Co. and the facts around that hasn't changed, but some guy researching a book has unearthed evidence that gives Palace an earlier claim, 1861 as opposed to 1863. What this means is we've been in existence 45 years longer without winning a major trophy]

1857 ^ Now playing in Dronfield. :)

Insofaras wikipd can be trusted, there's evidence of a Crystal Palace amateur team playing in 1861. It can't be earlier than 1852 - when the C P was built.

Dio - you'll have seen this:

The founder of Radio Caroline, Ronan O'Rahilly, died two days ago. The station is available on the 'net and now uses ex-BBC premises at Orford Ness.

One of the reasons child is an arse in the evenings is she is having horrific dreams and is dreading going to sleep which then makes it harder to get to sleep which then makes her more tired. Once we had winkled this out she gave me a look of scorn as if any fule kno that

I really feel for her, S, though I am someone who has 95% delightful dreams.
