I plan to come along. Can’t get there too early though as will be volunteering on the baggage trucks at the start.

Yes, will be lovely to see you again too Rosehip. It's been AGES! Prob the last time I was at St Neots. I may run it this year, it all depends on how I do in September, though that's going to be a weird race!

Hoping to come along as Husbando is running with a friend of ours. I want to do the reverse marathon in the morning/overnight (anyone know of anyone else who is planning to run the wrong way back to the start?)
You guys were so good when I ran in 2017.

I always fancied doing it backwards - there used to be a facebook group for nohtaram nodnol - but I think it stopped when it got too popular?? - as far as I know that group used to set off in the middle of the night for some to turn around at the start and run it in the race.

Binks OTP was one of the ringleaders of that particular form of madness, IIRC.

OH is running again. Will have to work out how we're getting there in time because our local station only has trains once an hour.
I expect I'll only be there for the earlier part of the race, as he's one of the speedy ones.

I reckon I will just rock up at the Mall - or as close as I can get - at about 4am, then pootle around the route until I get to the start.... might hang around and see Husbando set off, or not as my comfy shower and bed in the Waldorf will beckon for a couple of hours before heading back to Fetchpoint.
THere will be hell to pay if I miss him...

Ah, it is a great time to be out in London. I grew up in West London and lived there until my early 20s. I love running around the streets when there are very few people around... to be honest I normally do this sort of thing at around 6am on a Sunday - but it could be a giggle to run the route...
