I rode Thomas today, for the first time. A little odd since we've had him so long, but I said I'd hop on him for a bit of a razz in the back field as his work has been a bit interrupted with the builders being here and he's been getting a bit fresh.

Did me the power of good. Don't know that he enjoyed it quite so much, but I've been getting a bit down with my own riding recently, feeling like I'm having to put too much (physical) effort in with Lady. After riding Thomas, who was a very good boy indeed, it made me realise the issues are actually (a) Lady is sodding enormous and (b) she's a complete tank.

Nice to know it's not just me being pants :)

I think the photo of Lady that Roo put in her blog shows what a big unit she is! I can imagine her being hard work.
