Didn't they have to withdraw that offer at the eleventh hour one year because of waterlogging on the grass they planned to use? Clearly less of an issue for those who know Chester but for those of us travelling a distance it's an extra stress we could do without.

Chester isn't great for parking but there is a good option at the end of Curzon Park North where you can park or free and walk easily into the race course w3w.co ///token.magic.spout Hopefully the parking on the race course will be robust enough though.

I'm hoping to make it round but have had a good look at where first aid stations etc are so I can make a decision each time if I should carry on. For anyone that doesn't know me I'll be looking like this..... I'll have a clear disposable rain poncho glamming the looking up before hand. Oh and shades whatever the weather as that was the advice after last eye exam.
