Hi all, due to a major back injury which has involved having an MRI scan I’m unable to use my Chester Marathon place for this year. The place will be fully transferred via the Chester marathon website and the payment will be via PayPal to keep us safe. The place will come with a hoodie in L, (if you don’t want this I’ll ask you to collect for me and I’ll collect from you in the future). I’m asking £45 for the place £60 if you want the hoodie. Please fmail me or contact via this thread for more details.

Aw, I hope someone can take your place. I’m not up to a marathon at the moment but if I was it’s the one I’d choose to do. I loved running it in 2019. Really hoping to do it again in 2022. Hope you recover well from your back injury, wolves1877.

Hi Ness yes it really put the mockers on my summer. I’m just not going to be fit enough to run the marathon. Apparently the problem is degenerative back issues, meaning it’s all down to old age. I think it’ll mean no running in the icey snowy months. This means I’ve ordered my self a smart bike trainer

Sushi.
That's a shame Wolves.

I already have a place.

Hope someone takes you up on your offer.

The hoodie would swamp me or I'd be interested in that

Sorry to hijack this thread but I have a place to transfer due to injury if anyone's interested. It's free to a good home but could I suggest a donation of your choice to a charity of your choice. Thanks

Aussiecall unfortunately I think you might be in the same boat as me. I’m injured and didn’t bother getting the insurance and the only way I didn’t lose my money was transferring to run it your way. It might be worth a try
