Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh and rebar is threaded, so you can "screw" it into a slightly too small hole for a tight fit. Don't want it falling off!

Ooh I’ve never heard of rebar, but yes that would work nicely, there’s a sort of socket at the bottom to stick something into, great suggestion :)

Oh that is lovely.

DrP as you do outdoor pottery any advice on sealing/fixing outdoor items. I bought this heart bird bath from ETSY, it came and was wet. Dried out in the garage then moved it outside. Next day it was cracked. Got in touch they sent me a new one. They said it was fine for outdoor use in winter and thought it was damaged in transit.

It was dry but I left it indoors for a week anyway took it outside and lo and behold it cracked again similar place. I don’t want a 3rd on top of which they’re a small business the postage is a fortune alone. So I said I’d try to fix it but what with I’ve not researched yet.

I wore my new leggings today (with a T shirt over the top for the outdoor run, it’s not crop top weather!)

gg: I’m not sure what it’s made of but I suppose we did have a super cold spell. You could try using bathroom sealant to fix any leaks. I use a special type of clay for outdoor pieces, but that doesn’t look like clay. I think you were just unlucky to have a very cold snap combined with very wet weather

Doesn't carrying you phone in a pocket make your shorts or leggings fall down?

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
