Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Morning All! (Or rather Afternoon All!)

Club outing to Rutland Water parkrun, timed it well and missed the rain which arrived after we were well ensconced in the café for our post-run breakfast. There were some speedy old ladies there today, fastest woman in my cat ran 23:07!

No gardening today due to extreme dampness, but we are tempted to go to Melton Mowbray where there is a Festival of Pies this weekend. Mmm, pie . . .

I'm home. Didn't parkrun as the thought of driving home after a soaking at parkrun didn't appeal.

On holiday in Scotland for a week. Biblical rain yesterday but sunshine for the moment.

Beginning to wish it would rain here! Another warm run for me even though I was out early doors. Also a tough one. I'd decided that as Thursday's hill session didn't have much of a hill in it, I would do my hilly long run.

Wow, not much flat in that profile, westmoors - well done!

A damp 6 miles for me just before lunch. Meant to go earlier, but it was raining just too seriously so waited till it had eased off a bit. It is still raining though, no sunshine expected today here in the East Mids.
