They were supporting a slightly gothic sounding indie band in Westbourne Grove, whose name escapes me now. They were good, but what I most remember was that we were able to see a comet in the sky on the walk back to the tube (it was the year we had two comets visible to the naked eye); pretty remarkable given the light pollution in London.
