Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

When did you last give blood?

LindsD - it is, what an oversight! muppet ! I can't remember that though. I could possibly add location, but that's usually at the same place.

question about the Safety Check form: the question about whether you've taken aspirin, painkillers, anti inflams etc in past 7 days - if you tick yes (and it's only 2 x anti inflams) does that mean you can't donate blood?

Don't think so GordonG. Sometimes it's about a double check on your own health and suitability to give blood. I don't think they care what drugs are in your system in terms of the blood they take.

I have answered yes to cold and flu (paracetamol etc.) pills in the past and still been allowed to donate. :-) G
