Sigh Jul 2022 12:44pm, 15 Jul 2022 15,482 posts	0 Sigh question about the Safety Check form: the question about whether you've taken aspirin, painkillers, anti inflams etc in past 7 days - if you tick yes (and it's only 2 x anti inflams) does that mean you can't donate blood? I ticked 'Yes' for my last donation and got asked why (pain in shoulder & neck) and whether it had gone (yes), that was all.
GordonG Jul 2022 4:37pm, 15 Jul 2022 9,161 posts	0 GordonG thanks everyone. so, first blood donation in over 25 years done today Very impressed at the efficient use of technology (scanners and bar codes - they're clearly all parkrunners) also impressed with how polite and helpful all the staff were. Highlight for me was when they held my blood up in the air and proclaimed that it was the manliest blood they'd ever seen and that this was the standard everyone else should aspire to. Although it was quite noisy in there and those may not have been the words they actually used
