Rode Canada on 1x12 and ridden in Spanish mountains on 1x11. Currently back on 1x11 after destroying my Eagle rear mech :(

Tonight I will be mostly packing my stuff ready for Torq 12:12. For the first time ever I’m going to be racing as part of a team there... and it look as though it will be raining. In a kind of Bank Holiday rain fashion. I.e. pissing it down :-(

Saturdays weather looks good for you Cath but Sunday doesn't look so good.

I'll keep riding the 11s till its worn/knackered then get a new rear mech for the 12s.

Thanks! I’ve arrived and it’s dry and sunny here. I’m waiting for my teammates and have just cheekily washed my bike as I didn’t have time before I left.

Forecast tomorrow is still locusts :-(

It is chucking it down and freezing. I’ve got four layers on and still can’t feel my hands.

I got next to no sleep as I was cold overnight and ended up sleeping in a fleece. I didn’t bring winter gear with me so will have to ride in jersey, arm warmers and a waterproof.

If I wasn’t on a team I would be on my way home right now.
