Each day is a new one Dio. Perhaps we could all commit to a check-in around 5pm - 7pm? That is the most challenging time for many, having finished work, or it's got dark, or whatever your day's cycle might be. I'm happy to do this if it helps anyone who struggles in the evening. ![]() |

Maybe keep a tally of how many dry days you achieve Dio, as Happy says, each day is a new one. Still in ![]() |

I've been doing that for years, Mrs J, it no longer works as a motivation, it's just a bit of daily admin. I've actually stopped with the spreadsheet this year. What I should've said is that I'm not getting any better at truly wanting to give up. The problem is I am happy and doing well in all other areas so I don't really have the motivation. |

If you're happy and only having a couple of glasses of wine a few days per week why don't you just give up giving up? Sounds to me like you're just spoiling your orherwise good life. However, if you believe your drinking is 'excessive' then maybe some professional help or dupport is needed Diogenes
