Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Can you change your alerts to time instead of distance, BBL?

I have no idea GM :-)

I think I could on my old Garmin which was similar to wearing a small briefcase on my wrist but the new one is large wristwatch size and doesn't seem to have as many functions so I have never learned beyond start and stop! It beeps for every mile but I am not sure if I set it to do that or it just does it.

I've found something called 'run options' which may be the button I need. It looks a bit complicated and being the wrong side (or indeed the right side whichever way you want to look at it) of half a bottle of wine probably isn't the best time to go investigating :-) I'll see what I can do tomorrow

You could use the Run Walk option. See page 3 of this for the steps to set it:

Thanks Duchess. That looks rather complex at this time of night but with the clear light of day (and a clearer head) even I might manage it :-)
