Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh MH that sort of thing rings bells with me! Dried up or contents separated sachets of lovely things 'saved' - and now useless.

*off to search the 'nice things' bag in the desk bit of the bureau.*

I used to be known for drinking it.... some 15 or more years ago. An illustrator I used to work with gave me a bottle as a Christmas present but it's never been opened. I got round to throwing the box away, that's as far as it went.

I'm a bit of a rascal for saving up my Lush bath bombs until either they disintegrate or someone else in the household uses them instead. I should have more baths.

I've got a lot better. I do have a necklace my granny bought me that I won't wear for fear of losing it.

I have *best* jeans. Mainly because they're too long and I need to wear heels with them, and I don't generally wear heels unless I'm going out. The jeans also cost an absolute fortune so I don't want them to get worn out. But the outcome is that I don't wear them at all. It's bonkers.

Is it worth getting the jeans shortened professionally so that you can wear them with normal shoes, WA? My oldest daughter did that with a lovely pair of jeans and she, Fellmouse and I passed them back and forth for years.

None of us can get into them now. I should give them away.

Uniqlo have a very good jeans shortening service. Free at time of purchase but not expensive at other times. Not much use if your not near a Uniqulo though, obs.

Can you wear them tucked in with boots? Also straight or skinny jeans can look v g rolled or turned up, you need to experiment.
