As I'm at work on the Thursday I'm thinking of hopping on the train (alt is come home, pick up the car and drive round - but that'll likely not get me there before 10 - even with non-long weekend traffic!!). Looking at the fares, it'll be cheaper too!!

Leaving Oxford at 7:16 and arriving in Thatcham at 8:08 which gives me plenty of time to get to the track( 0.9 mile from station.) can't wait to have a go at my track PB.
