thinking of doing both car and bike, at least in the daylight hours, as that way it's far easier to feed, water and generally keep runners company. And if the timekeeping vehicle has a bike rack, both options are there.

I'm happy to be a passenger in the car when I'm not running, but not confident enough driving or cycling to be much use otherwise

Am confident driving day and night, will have finished nights on the friday morning and if I sleep properly on friday and poss have a nap saturday(after the initial bike support) could do some driving of the night legs. I don't have a bike rack, am thinking of just putting my bike in my car as there is plenty of room for it, but it doesn't make for quick getting on and off, as I usually take off the front wheel. If you have a few cyclists maybe alternate legs as I know I could do more miles if I have a break in between.

I have checked with G and he is happy for me to let others use the bike, if it was mine I wouldn't have to ask, but as it's officially his I had to ask, his reply, well why wouldn't it be OK?!?!?! In a voise as if I needn't have asked. I think I will bring the mountain bike, it has road tyres on it, and is far easier(in my opinion on the gears and more comfy on the seat) unless things change dramatically in the next few months. So ange you can share mine. Was asked the other day if I would be prepared to do a temporary station transfer, and if so my rota may change, but if it does I will do absolutely everything I can to get shift swaps so I am off that weekend.

I can bike after my run or well before as long as i can have 2 or 3 hours rest in between but i do need to avoid sat evening if possible. I'm not very quick either ( on the bike or on foot at the moment!)

I'm planning on biking after my leg too as a warm down (slow running please KS!)
My thoughts are to try always have two people able to bike in the team car so there is cover in case of tiredness, injury and or general CBAness
The biggest challenge, I think, is going to be sharing driving because of insurance restrictions. Working out schedules for that at the moment.
