LOL, well done you!! Making up facts is really devaluing the concept of them though. They are supposed to be a great tool but if "fact" isn't correct (especially when objectively indisputable facts) then the reset of the waffle is devalued too. |

I asked ChatGPT to tell me which features of Fetcheveryone were most popular, and it told me that FetchFrenzy was the game everyone was talking about.

Lol - it just blatantly makes things up but sounds credible. It's basically the world's best liar at the moment. I wish it would qualify which bits it is least confident about. Some kind of optional markup you could toggle off and on. ![]() |

While I think it's very powerful, I also think it's easily tricked into giving bulls**t answers as a few of you have already found out. The way you structure a question is quite important. Find something you want to learn and ask it :- Identify the 20% of learning [xyz] that will yield 80% of the desired result and produce a learning plan to master it. It's quite good but also a bit basic in it's reply. But if you have no idea where to start, it'll give you a place to begin. Still reckon education in it's current format is fubar due to AI. Why would any student write an essay on any subject anymore ? |

Had a short play with GPT-3.5 yesterday. I asked it some stuff about Norwegian double threshold training and whether strength training is useful for distance running, and if so what exercises would it recommend. Thought the answers were pretty decent, also erring sensibly on the side of caution re injury/overtraining. Can post here if anyone's interested. |
