Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

DeeGee - weight is not the most important thing regarding fashioning. It's all about your Interaction with the ground, or Form!
I have worked with 7 stone folk who impact the ground in a bone-jarring way and would break In flats, and 18 stone folk who have fabulous light and springy form and run in very minimal shoes.

Here's the thing. My form is far better in the Brooks than the Nike.

DeeGee - it would be interesting to see you run in both shoes.

BTW - the Sweatshop advice re: only using flats for shorter stuff and races is VERY old and outdated advice with no evidence base!

I'm hoping to get a video of myself in today's race later. I say my form's better. It feels better. It might be utter shite.

I was using Triaxes and have changed over to the Brooks Racer ST5s. I still use the Triaxes for slow runs or recovery runs but I am much preferring the Sts now. Using 'em up to half marathon with no probs, doing another HM today with them!

Same thing that I found then, WM. That's reassuring.
