Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The basic kit includes a laptop or netbook. Yours seems to have wandered off somewhere.

I realise this thread is over two years old, but has anyone achieved using a mac for downloading and processing parkrun results? After much fiddling i can get both stopwatch and scanner to download to the mac, but the data formats are not what the result processing software is expecting.

I do have the parkrun laptop, but it is slow and clunky and I'd rather use my featherweight MacBook air if I can...

I did so in the very early days of my tenure - I had to do a bit of fiddling round with the format you’ve mentioned - probably a mix of Excel and Notepad. Soon after we got a parkrun laptop.

If it helps, I can dig out a sample of the right format (although might not be for a few days)

Thanks - I was hoping to avoid the fiddling - by the time I've done that the laptop would have surged into life ;) In the olden days I would have broken out the java and written something.... but too lazy now.

Got something to say?
