Thanks for the «indoor» running training category, Mr Fetch! I have the chance of an indoor 50 km coming up. The excuses are getting fewer.

It's a running track under the tribunes (stadium seats) Cheeky’s Dad at Bislett stadium in Oslo. You just keep going round and round. It's about 92 laps. But at least you're out of the snow.

Sorry for being silly NordRunner 😁 Keeping out of the snow seems a very good idea and 92 laps of a track definitely better than on a treadmill. Good luck with it

Jokes always welcome! Here's a pic of Bislett indoor track. They look a bit serious for me! usercontent.one

I used to live walking distance from Bislett. Dull but true.

Feature Request 1523 Submitted by SpartanMyth THIS FEATURE IS NOW CLOSED GPS records of my weekly parkruns often clock in at just under 5km, so don't count against my site PBs. Could races within say 1% of 5k / 10k /etc be "rounded up" for this purpose? (Perhaps with a couple of seconds added to avoid abuse?) HappyG(rrr) says: Or is another way of doing this to honour both GPS training AND race manually entered distance and times and take the race one as "gold" standard (trusting the runner to have entered it correctly of course!) ![]() Fetch Says If you add the parkrun to your race list, and enter your time there, it appears in your benchmarks. That's a good one. Thanks Fetch. And SpartanMyth for suggesting it. I wonder if it applies to all distances or just 5km? I could find out simply by making up a 35 minute 10km result for myself. Hmm. ![]() |

Thanks Fetch. Seems like a sensible enhancement - take GPS automatically, but if updated with a human entered race result then take that instead. Cool. Thanks. ![]() |
