Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Can we clarify the difference in wearing clinical 'masks' and wearing facing coverings. I'm confused around the purpose of each and whether there's any cross over in guidance of their use.

For instance - I take masks as those that are worn in medical settings. There is clear guidance on this regarding usage - touching/removing etc. And whom they are there to protect.

Does this guidance automatically transfer to face coverings in non medical situations? If you remove a face covering when you leave the train or a shop, can you really not put it back on again? Given that they are there mainly to prevent you from infecting others, are you really endangering yourself?

Not trying to start an argument. Just a bit confused.

No, I’d welcome some clarification, if there is any?

But many people are using the word mask for everything as it's easier to say.

I've chosen to go with WHO rather than gov. Uk as much clearer.
