Haven't worn a mask at all upto last weekend. But I think with masks being compulsory on public transport, it's only a matter of time for the same to happen in shops or even pubs when they open.

So I tried a buff last Sunday in a local garden centre. Did feel strange, and even quite an effort to breathe.

Someone at work told me today that disposable face masks are available from vending machines at train stations, so sure if anyone else has noticed this?

Now that WOULD be handy (as long as they're not a rip off -no pun intended)

I've not seen masks for sale anywhere (although I've not been out shopping much since the middle of March), so I'm puzzled where the surgical ones I see people sometimes wearing are coming from. I've also taken a buff with me in case I 'needed' it when I'm out.

On sale at M&S

Advice from Northern rail yesterday was that from Monday face coverings are to be worn in stations and on trains, this can be a scarf, snood or mask made from your old t-shirt it does not have to be a medical grade mask

M&S sells them. My local garage had packs of disposable ones for sale last time I was in there. I’m sure if you go on Etsy you could find a million cute washable ones. I’m planning on just wearing a buff if I need to take public transport.
Pretty sure they won’t be compulsory in pubs or restaurants, how could you eat or drink?! The staff might wear them and customers might wear them if they had to order at the bar maybe.

Damnit! Just back from Aldi and never thought to look!

As I stress - I just want to do the right thing where it's compulsory - eg London transport.
