To repeat HB's question, why are you measuring it?

I get the feeling your not doing it right HOD , on a good day i can blow 700 , I'm 56 and been on inhalers for years, although the running has helped my asthma no end .

There is no absolute "normal" value. It depends on age, sex and height - as a 50 year old 5'7" woman my normal will be lower than a 30 year old 6 foot bloke's. It's the trends and changes that matter. I really don't understand why you're measuring it and unless you're using a properly calibrated and standardised meter and have been shown how to use it properly then the results are meaningless. If you've not got any symptoms, leave it alone

About This Thread

I have a fairly low peak flow does this mean I have 'asthma' and does this effect my training/spee...
