Is A Boring Race Better Than No Race?

Boring? Used to get Bored when I was a teenager, many years ago.
Now, hardly ever.
Running never. There's alwa loads of stuff happening, some of it totally subjective.
How's poor leg doing, what's that pain? Etc
Other runners always interesting.
For a lot of my runs/ walks there's also the added " thrill" of trying to follow a route deception or map.l

Actually, i modified one of my fakeparkun courses for the ice, making it a double out and back on an unfinished cycle path, and as i was running it I thought "this really is quite a boring route".

Not a bad undead thread! Laps of an athletics track doesn't do it for me. Otherwise, the whole 'race business' was enough stimulation for me to enjoy my day, if not my performance. :)
