Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Is it a v.3 of the OS problem? Check the o2 or Apple message/support boards.

More iphone help if poss please.

When I've had my earphones in the iPhone it won't revert to ringing out loud again and seems to be stuck in headphone mode. Any ideas?

Hello.

The contracts with Carphone Warehouse say they give you unlimited Data/Wifi. Is this as good as it sounds i.e. can I surf as much as I like, from anywhere, not just near my router?

Here's the page I'm looking at:

carphonewarehouse.com

That's right Fetch. Personally I'd go direct to an O2 store though - CW would just be an unnecessary middle man.

The prices seem to be identical. Or do you mean for support purposes?

Yes for support. It's O2 anyway so not sure what CW would add, apart from extra hassle? Might be talking crap but that's my gut feel.

I would definitely go to O2. I've bought from Carphone Warehouse before, and have been caught between them and my line provider when I've had issues with the phone/contract, with both saying it is the other's responsibility to sort out. Go direct to O2, and they can't pass the buck if there are any issues.
