Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am going to go out for 4 or 5 miles this afternoon. That will squeeze me ahead of GNW, Katie B and Santa for yearly mileage. Good numbers, people :-)

Followed the Thames Path for the first time today, wish I'd done it months ago. Bit muddy & slippy, lost the path once but so much nicer than the streets :) Think I did about 6 miles, would've liked to have done double that but starting to get dark.

There were some loverly looking big puddles near the end I had to resist jumping in as too many dog walkers around. Was so happy I drove the long way back home with the stereo turned up :) I need more mud in my life and less pavements.

If the hangover isn't too bad tomorrow may do about 10 miles on same path and get DP and children to pick me up. I'm sure the promise of a pub lunch will entice him?

35mins on treadmill @ 12km/hr (blowing a gale outside - wanted an easy run after yesterday). Went through the songs on the mp3 player (had forgotten what was on them - had been listening more to the audio books on the i-pod recently). Played some tracks in their entirity bringing back some great memories!

WINDY!!!

Wow - just went out for about 5.5 miles or so, and it's really windy - thankfully I've been stuffing my face, otherwise I might have blown away :-)

It also started raining a lot! Wet and happy :-)
