Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A very dull 5k on the dreadmill, thanks to icy pavements.

Chasing shadows of faster runners through icy mist on the snowy canal towpath for five and a half miles at tempo pace. Temperature around -12 degress centigrade. Numb lips by the end of this little jaunt. Very enjoyable.

That man from March
Bloody cold and bloody boring. Running up and down the only bit of road near the club that we could stay upright on. Still it had to be done as I needed to get back into it after taking a few days off after the St Neots Half.

Underfoot conditions ranged from "slightly crisp" to "glassy". Was OK :)

Was yesterday, but still cracking, took the dog (who seemed to need it more than me) round the local hill. She was off the lead all the way round, off and back, and then far off, coming back or stopping on the whistle, didn't bother any of the sheep (nor did the dog :-) ) quite a slow plod for me due to the snow, but still CRACKING :-)

Slipping and sliding all over the place as temp has gone from -9 first thing to +1 now and it seems as though the snow has lost it's grip.
Enjoyed it but had to be very careful not to turn an ankle.
