One of my Bushy friends dropped out of a 100 mile run from London to Oxford along the Thames. I was impressed he got as far as 39 miles, but how awful to have invested that much and have to make the decision that it stops there. Would you prefer to hang to to the bitter end and maybe wreck yourself for months?
