Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Have you done your daily physio exercises?

This is a good thread! I started doing some stuff after Christmas - the eight step workout to getting rid of the paunch published in The Times. That is the eight step workout was published in The Times, not the paunch. Oh, having said that .... erm.

Anyway, it does not have to be done daily, and in theory my paunch is now gone, but it is a good workout so I think I will keep on doing it.

Hello! I've been lurking on this thread for ages

I did my ankle rehab exercises religiously for 13 months while I couldn't really run. Then I had two months where the running came good, my mileage got somewhere towards normal and I didn't even bother with desultory stretching afterwards, never mind the ankle specific stuff.

Guess what! We all know damn well how important it is, but sometimes we (I) need a harsh reminder that injury-fixing exercises are for life not just for when-i-can-be-bothered.

As you were, people, carry on ;-)

I have been a good kwala and done my exercises tonight. Struggled with the last few and knee is making some really interesting grinding noises!! I've also booked up a fizz appointment for tomorrow lunchtime, to see just where I'm at with my rehab (behind where I should be I know).

Went to fizz today, was good. She corrected my position on a couple of the exercises I've been doing (or should've been doing!), and gave me some new ones to do, prob around a 20minute set in total now. She also told me to get on my bike, just a few mins at low resistance for now - while recovering from the chest infection and building up gradually as my lungs allow.
