Salford Quays is ideal for walking to start, I've had very adequate meals at the italian there and also frankie and benny's - but they may well be stuffed with runners, I'd recommend booking if at all possible. This time I've got an airbnb in Chorlton, just marginally further away in the opposite direction (closer to the finish!), and a table booked at (supposedly) the best pizza in manchester

Must be a policy change, I booked there a couple of years ago and enjoyed swanning past the huge queue of suspiciously thin trainer-wearing people

I have dinner, bed and breakfast at the parents' place, and taxi service to the race too It helps to be semi-native! I've done a 12 mile training run. That's enough, yes?

Hi all. How did it go? My last minute changes worked well. Bella italia gave us a table when we walked in Off the street 😂 I struggled with my wee head today. Just constant doubt and negativity. but I stayed on top of it and got a PB 😄 3.53.57. Yay. |
