Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I love being a member of a short course because it takes less time.

I know what you mean. When I have to play a course with a par 5 > 500yds I start to panic.

I DNFd a golf match today. After a long putt to save the hole on the first, a fabulous par three on the second, I tweaked my back and bailed on the third.

Had another good round this afternoon. 32 points after 15 holes, before we gave up absolutely soaked!

I've cancelled all my games except for Monday's doubles knockout. I've told my partner that he'll have to play the golf while I walk round giving helpful hints and taking photos.

Who’s excited for tomorrow?

Some great groups, and Patrick Reed got what he deserves.

I’m working at home tomorrow so will be torn between the golf and the cricket

Hoylake's only a hop, skip & a jump from where I live and I went on the Saturday in 2006. These days, crowds are not my favourite place to be, so I'll follow on TV and radio.

And you're right, lammo - there's a banquet of high quality sport on offer this summer. Go, Lionesses!
