Spot on WW. Gutted for Rose but his last to Major performances suggest there might be something left for him. If he keeps the form up there's no way he doesn't go to the RC - and agreed he'd make a great captain.

Hi All, i played a couple of weeks ago now, and was woeful, swing all over the place, i have 5 weeks until my annual event, i got a tempo trainer device for my birthday so hoping that will help, and need to get some more rounds in, time seems ever more more precious and rare.

I'll be interested to hear about your tempo device.
I've had a bit of a breakthrough after my winter lay-off. I played with a guy called Steve on Sunday. He has a wonderful, full, smooth swing; a real joy to behold. The last two games I've been determined to "be more like Steve". I've slowed everything down, full turn of the shoulders and a good turn of the hips. The feet are the key to initiating movement and slow and steady is the way.
I played 16 holes today (we didn't bother with the last two because we won 3&2) and got 5 pars and a birdie. I had my fair share of shit shots but when I was More Like Steve, I hit some real beauties.

Afternoon all, well i played much better yesterday, don’t know if the tempo trainer was influential or not, i am going to use it more over the next couple of weeks.
Just watching the us open coverage, not sure who i can pick to win even now, hopefully a european.
How’s it all going for you guys?

Very erratic. And frustrating. I can feel that there is a good round just under the surface but I keep losing focus and it’s costing me shots.
I’ve got a knockout match on Tuesday and I hope my a-game turns up.

My own game is pretty slow right now. Playing semi-regularly and seeing improvements around the green but inconsistent off the tee. Local course have just punched their greens so I'll blame that for the poor scoring
