Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

bet he does and all. I once saw him trying to get back in the water after a open water session by shaking uncontrollably and self lubricating the slipway. Nasty Business.

He turned up last night. I was terrified he was going to be coaching. Or 'coaching'.

Has anyone had an issue with the 910xt switching off? I was out on the bike on Tuesday, after about 50 minutes it turned itself off. This was annoying as a) I was following a course and b) I turned it back on but forgot to press start so only got half my session recorded.
It's not the first time its done it, I'm sure it's done it on a run before. Deffo on bike once at least.

It *may* be a course thing as that's what I would have used it for. I would have used the Edge but forgot the lead :-(

Going by the Garmin forums the combo of using it mounted to a bike and following a course often causes switch-off. Garmin have collected a lot of error data from the posters there and say they are working on a firmware fix, but have gone very quiet about that for weeks now.

Some day Garmin will release a device where the firmware works really well from day one instead of the third or fourth release 6 months later, but it wasn't much of a surprise when the 910 had problems like the 610, 310, 305... All great kit but I wouldn't buy anything from Garmin until it's been out for 6 months any more.

The old strap works with a 310xt - although I don't hate the new strap as much as some people.

(Arge - were you aware of Our Favourite Affable Irishman having an *epic* sense of humour failure about EETC 'triathlete of the year' votes?)
