Best watch I have by far. And reasonably priced on Handtec.

Garmin's roadmap isn't showing a 910 replacement within the next 12 months, so it might depends how soon the 310 falls of that wall, drops 10,000 feet onto the M25, and gets run over by 50 HGVs.

I had the problem recently where the barometric altimeter fails (it's not an uncommon fault if you do a lot of swimming with it apparently). All my runs showed zero elevation profile but a gain/loss of e.g. 7500m! Took a bit of to-ing and fro-ing with Garmin before they'd accept that yes, it was broken. Got my replacement by return-of post though.

That's interesting, Flanker. It'd be weird if mine and Argie's fell off the same wall at the same time.

Dunton next Thursday Arge?

I am on Annual leave so quite possible. Name your ridiculous handicap now though? Legs and Cat can fucking make an appearance as well.

LionBar's 910xt is playing silly buggers. Again. The original was replaced and now the replacement has ceased to function :-(

Hoping a firmware reinstall will fix it, otherwise it's going back to garmin.

Has anyone bought the 910xt without the HRM? I don't see the point in paying more when I already have the premium HRM. I was wonderng though if the 910x is similar to the 205 / 305 - i.e. the 205 doesn't have HR capability whereas the 305 does?

I bought a 310xt years ago without, and just used my old strap, which I also use with my two EDGEs. Works fine.

At current Amazon prices the price difference between the 910XT with the strap and without is less than the price of a replacement strap.

As I traditionally get (got?) through premium straps at a fair rate for me the no-strap option would be a false economy.
