Wearing MudRocs tomorrow, the woods will be nicely churned up by the Juniors and we have two trips through the mud...

Yeah, that fourth mile was just cruel, so much mud it was hard to get any traction. (I wore my f-lites, but may have been better off in Roclites - God knows how people got on in road shoes.) Love the zig zaggy bit downhill afterwards though. Weeeeee! Didn't see you anywhere today, Ted. You were probably miles ahead of me though! |

I was about 10ft in front of you on the start line. I did shout at (for) you when you were finishing Although you were in the zone

Second time round in the mud was a nightmare - I was dying on my arse at 8:56 pace and not going anywhere. Ugh. Ah, thought I heard my name shouted towards the finish. Thanks, Ted! |

One of my favourite courses. Its great to finish the course weighing more than at the start. People pay good money to get smothered in mud?

FR people pay ridiculous money to get smothered in mud but don't join in free club events!;) Have never understood that one. Chose the roclites and felt great until 4th mile when wished I'd chosen the mudrocs (only done 11miles in them and was concerned about the tarmac section) great day though and brilliant course
