Where best to start - chess.com and work up? Any other suggestions? I did play a few casual games as a kid so not a total beginner but haven’t played for years

I wasn’t sure how they worked but joined a couple which matched my rating and it certainly sharpens the game. Surprisingly in last 6 of 140 in one tournament. One thing I have noted is how much higher your rating goes outside of playing just the fetch players.
