Unusually for us, due to OH’s work situation, we’ve got 3 weeks and so we’re visiting places we either a) want to return to (ie, Dolomites) or b) wouldn’t otherwise get a chance to visit. At the end of the trip we’ll have done quite a lot of mileage, but interspersed with a decent amount of time in the areas we wanted to come to. Loving it so far

We got to do Milano Nord parkrun yesterday, and actually parked right outside. There were a fair few Brits there, and 2 other campervans with parkrunners, too. Arrived at our site on Lake Como yesterday, after stopping off at one of the lakeside towns for a decent pasta lunch. Our pitch is metres from the lake with great views. I’ve for a run this morning along the lake and it’s beautiful here again. Will no doubt be going for a dip later, and aiming to do a boat trip stopping off at various today. After a fair bit of driving over the last 2 days I think for the next couple of days the van won’t be moving.
