Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have never run anything shorter than 5k... so if I make it to this one, it will be a mighty challenge for me. I also have never run on a track before, does one need special shoes? Are my fell shoes ok on it you think?

Ok, I must see if I can find my road shoes. I have a pair of Saucony grid tangents somwehere, they would do... but, if one uses spikes for tracks, the Mudrocs may just do the job :-)

It's a decent pint in the Bonnie Prince Chrisity, It's often the "stopping off point" on the way home from the Dave Denton mid-week meets. Hopefully it'll be a nice day and we can "congregate" on the lawns outside, otherwise they may have a dozen or so "sweaty" runners clogging up their Bar........Well it is "Carbo' loading" after all. :-)

Can anyone give me a lift back from the venue after this? And some money to pay the ransom when Chrisity nicks my car, wife and kids again?
