Nice

I'm in Bradford. I've been before, but not for about 20 years. And I had a new pumpkin and lentil dahl dish at the restaurant last night.

That sounds tasty, Linds :)

Sam made what was effectively baked bean curry last night, and it was much tastier than the description might suggest.

Forgot to post my one yesterday. My phone rang in a way I have never heard it ring before and it was a video call - a complete first for me (I mean I've done pre-arranged Zooms/Teams/Facetimes in the past but never had an unexpected video call.) I didn't recognise the number and I was at work where it would have been inappropriate to answer it anyway. Today I suspect my newt will be researching if my phone has a setting to automatically decline video calls that I can switch on ;-)

BBL if you find an answer please share. I hate unexpected video calls even from people I know.

I have all video stuff turned off BBL. I haven't the bandwith for it so I don't want it.

Oh

I took a photo of some trees in blossom, not sure what they were, they are in my gallery and a couple of pages back but if all the people I did think you would likely know!

Ah, yeah, cherry plum most likely or blackthorn.

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
