Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

(That's to Linds previous page :-)

I will pick a newt of the day - as is custom - around lunch time tomorrow.

I bought some running tights of a brand I've never used before last night. Impulse purchase - they put out a new design in orange and black and linked to a charity I'm happy to support.

No newts so far today. I'm waiting in for my first ever bathroom mirror with integral lighting and demisting instead of going out for a run.

We have had the first sleet/very half hearted snow of the year here so in the absence of another obvious newt today I'm claiming it for now

I've eaten half of the pack of De Hobbit Licht Gekrulde Tofureepjes I bought in the vegan supermarket a couple of weekends ago. Cauldron marinated tofu is better, and I don't even like that very much, preferring to do my own marinating.

Watch my back, I'm about to dive into the Alpro ice cream :-O

I don’t think I had any newts yesterday. I went to a gym class, and I went to dog school and there were no newts anywhere. (Obvs there were no newts at work. Same old.)

My new newt for today, is running non-stop (no walk-breaks) for 4 miles.
I have no idea when I last did that.

Oh, actually I did download a new podcast. I’m listening to it now. It’s really annoying. Oh well, got to try these things.

My son reminded me that I have my grandfather's old Yamaha electric keyboard.

I'm suddenly taken by the idea of learning to play a few songs that I like on it, but I wouldn't know where to begin and don't want to spend any actual money.

The idea being to be able to turn up to one of those train stations with a piano and playing a couple of nice songs, rather than having any massive repertoire or being able to compose.
