[You can build lots of Fetch miles. I've done about six so far, and have others planned for when I have time and impetus.]

Local coffee shop made me a weeny beetroot latte to try - it's basically a latte made without coffee but with beetroot and ginger. It tastes exactly as you'd expect and was weirdly pleasant

Well that's certainly a Newt, mulbs. I love ginger, I love beetroot, but I love coffee more. And lattes are too milky for my tastes anyway! But it's not me drinking the milky, gingerly red concoction so hurrah for you is what I say!

That sounds interesting, mulbs. I've seen turmeric lattes advertised locally but never been brave enough to try one. Maybe once my quarantine is over I should give one a go! Today's newt is my first experimental store cupboard pasta dish: last of the shallots, half a red pepper, dried mushrooms, can of tuna, frozen sweetcorn and (an old trick from student days!) a mushroom cup-a-soup |

It was OK Jenni but it won't be something I'll be rushing to do post-lockdown

I had a takeaway with friends last night to celebrate the start of a new year of my life (and friends). This included a couple of people I have chatted to in a messenger group but hadn’t met in person.
